I wrote a book!

Finally, my book is written and in the can. A few loose ends need to be tied, and it still needs a lot of editing, but it's finished, finally!

The book consists of five stories in the life of one Professor Conundrum, spanning 80 years. The five stories contained within the book couldn't be more different from each other...

It's definite. I know what I am going to do, I think.

Based on the recommendations of several people, all of whom know more about the book publishing business than I do, I have decided to have my book published as a series of five stories - all centered around three generations of the Conundrum family - Professor Conundrum, his parents, and his children. Each story is a snippet from the professor's life - from the age of 10 to 88 - from 1929 to the present.

I'm prolific and I didn't even realize it

Last year, I didn't know I could string a sentence together. And now, I have completed five stories - which have been well-received. I think I am a prolific writer, and I didn't even know I was a writer at all.

My 3rd story is about the Vietnam War. My 4th story is about running a small farm (my MBA came in quite handy). My 5th and final story is about how people treat the elderly... even if the elderly person happens to be world famous, and brilliant.

a synopsis of Prof.Conundrum's Enigma

The main character, now a 20 year old Oxford University student, believes he has been invited to join an elite team of codebreakers in 1939 - the year England declared war on Germany during WWII. The most amazing part of this jaw-dropping fictional story is that 97% of it is 100% true.

a play?!

I happen to think that Prof.Conundrum & Miss Terry would make a terrific play, so I posted a want-ad for a playwright on Craigslist.org. Someone on Craigslist.org has contacted me and suggested I post an ad on HireMyMom.com. Then an independent film maker contacted me on Craigslist, and has shown an interest in adapting my story as a stage play.

For my book jacket photo, I'd like to think I just rolled out of bed and snapped a Polaroid of myself in the bathroom mirror, but it involved a bit more preparation than that.
